Scott joined JANA in 2006.
Before joining JANA, Scott worked in GSC Partners where he focused on acquiring companies through the restructuring process and enhancing value as an active equity owner. Prior to GSC Partners, he was an investment banker at Credit Suisse First Boston.
Scott is a member of the Board of Directors of TreeHouse Foods, Inc. and Mercury Systems, Inc. He was previously a member the Board of Directors of Conagra Brands, Inc., HD Supply Holdings, Inc. until its sale to Home Depot, Inc. and Team Health Holdings, Inc. until its sale to Blackstone Group Inc. Scott serves on the non-profit board for Columbia University’s Richman Center for Business, Law and Public Policy. Scott received a JD from Columbia Law School (2002), where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and a Senior Editor of Columbia Law Review, an MBA, Beta Gamma Sigma, from Columbia Business School (2002) and a BA, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Columbia University (1998).
